  1. Ofcourse everything depends on the app knowing the distance/location of the car. I dont know the setup used in the programming of the app, nor the cirquitry of the car. And yes a doppler effect would be needed to truly pull it off perfectly. Panning and such would be great as well on headphones. Even if it would just be volume, it would be worth the effort. For those who like that extra feature. Me included.
  2. Feature request: Car sound volume attenuation. What it is: Car sounds lowering and raising in volume depending on the distance the car has from the phone. Why: in a perfect world the dr!ft car has a onboard speaker making the sound hyper realistic coming from the location of the source as in real life. Because the dr!ft cars do not have this option, the next best thing is to attenuate the volume coming from the app. Depending on the distance the car has from the phone. Knowing the phone app is where most of the simulation happens, maybe there already is a distamce being tracked and it would be a "easy" implementation. Implementation: On/off feature, so anyone can choose to have it enabled or disabled. I imagine how awesome it would be seeying my car drift in the distance on the track hearing the engine roar at low volume, then as the car comes closer the volume goes up till it maxes out at 100% as it flies by right in front of me. Thanks for any thoughts or progress on this. Kind regards.
  3. Thanks for the help guys i will add my request to that list.
  4. Question: does the app attenuatie the volume of the car depending how far away it is from the phone? (Im waiting on my cars to arrive so i dont know the answer yet) In other words does the volume go lower and higher depending on how far the car is away from the phone? And if not where can i put in a feature request. This would increase the feeling of realism even more. As a turn on/off feature, i think many would appreciate this. In a perfect world the sound would come from the car itself, since thats not the case this attenuation from the phone app would be the closest thing. Kind greetings.
